Business Networking Summit
The annual opportunity for students to speak and network with alumni.
For over 35 years, the Department of Economics has departed from the corner of Chapin and College Street at 7:00 a.m. on a cold February morning for an annual Business Networking Summit, well-known as “Econ Day”.
Forty junior and senior majors along with their professors journey to Chicago to meet with alumni and to consider life after Beloit.

Alumni and the “Face-to-Face” Network
Long before Facebook, the centerpiece of “Econ Day”, now the Business Networking Summit, has been the Beloit Face-to-Face Network - That’s you! This invaluable opportunity for our current students to have one-on-one discussions with our alumni provides them with a unique source of advice, information and gentle direction.
We will ask each alumni member of the Network for a brief biography. This information enables our students to seek out the right alum(s) for advice.
Our annual alumni reception, immediately following The Network, is your opportunity to reconnect with professors, classmates and meet other department alumni. We look forward to seeing you!
